The first track "From the Mountain" opens with distant singing bowls and chanting paying tribute to Grand Master Alex Feng's origins. At age 8 Dr. Feng, founder of Zhi Dao Guan, climbed to the top of a tall mountain in Taiwan and began contemplating the heavens above and the earth below. He began to meditate and pray, seeking the answer to his life's purpose. Soon he saw smoke curling to the heavens and heard faint chants from a temple in the distance. He interpreted this as a message and answer to his question.

All of the meditative sounds on this album were carefully selected and performed by Emani and Illuminertia. In a world where stress levels are at an all time high we felt that a soundtrack for the healing arts would be a nice offering. It's a very special concoction of both midi instruments from around the world as well as real acoustic instruments like hang, flute, voice, sansula, nature samples, and asian harp. It was well received by the Taoist community at the annual conference in Oakland. We designed this specifically for those who seek a sound track for their meditative practice, yoga, healing practice or any other type of situation that requires a soothing, serene atmosphere.
